Episudics Epidemic

The last two week ends plus the week days in between I spent at home.

Sick.

I seem to get this same "sick" thing every year around February/March.

It starts with a sore throat for about 3 to 4 days and progresses to a blocked nose, sore glands and leads (in me any way) to secondary infection of the ears, chest and throat.

Coughing up yucky green and yellow stuff . . .

. . . not nice at all.

Monday 4th February 2008 I took myself to the doctor.

Tuesday I was on the phone to doctors surgery reporting I started coughing up green and yellow stuff.

Tuesday afternoon mum drove to the surgery to collect my script for medication and picked it up at the Chemist.

I started taking medication that day, for the full 5 day course.

I really didn't start to feel better until Friday, even better Saturday and today I feel even better still. And so I will be returning to work tomorrow.

But the reason for writing is to let my readers know that my dearest friends (James S. Huggins) mother has identified the exact name for this "sick" thing I get every year.

It is called an EPISUDICS EPIDEMIC.

Each year for the last 4 years I have been suffering from Episudie.

I believe there is a medical reference page for the EPISUDICS EPIDEMIC but I have not located it. Stay tuned to this Blog for updates.
