Mircosoft Vista, WOW NOT!

Well it seems Mr Microsoft simply can not get it right.

There has been big who-ha about the WOW in Microsoft Vista yet, as previously, this version can not recognise files done in other versions, but wait, Mr Microsoft has issues a patch, yes a patch already, for you to download to fix this bug.

Hope you have broadband, it's 26 megs and should take you about 2 hours to download on dial up. Just do it over night, she'll be right mate!

If you are one of those who rushed in and upgraded (or is that downgraded) to Vista, you can get the your Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel and Powerpoint files, here .

On the other hand, Linux is a fantastic option and far, far more reliable then Microsoft AND it's free!

I bought a Notebook last year which came with Windows XP Pro installed.

I reformatted the hard drive and installed Linux Suse 10.1 and I am more then happy with it.

Now just to sort out what I want to save on my desk top and then install Linux Suse 10.1 on it also.
